About The Signal
The Signal Intel is an independent, evidence-based audit of UK institutional accountability.
Every finding published on this site is backed by a specific number, a specific name, or a primary document reference. We use official sources: FOI responses, ONS data, parliamentary records, inspection reports, and court rulings.
What We Cover
Government Spending — Where taxpayer money goes. Foreign aid, asylum accommodation, NGO grants, council budgets.
Institutional Priorities — What public bodies spend on versus what they cut. Police, NHS, schools, universities.
Demographics — ONS releases, census data, population statistics.
Local Governance — Council planning decisions, community funding, developer contributions.
Sovereignty — ECHR rulings, WHO commitments, retained EU law, treaty obligations.
The Method
We operate a continuous research pipeline that monitors government data sources, parliamentary records, and FOI disclosures around the clock. Findings are verified, cross-referenced across beats, and published with full source attribution.
We do not publish opinions, commentary, or predictions. We publish receipts.
Use Our Evidence
Everything on this site is free to cite, share, and use. If you're writing to your MP, submitting an FOI request, or posting on social media — use our findings. That's what they're for.
